Like mother, like daughter.

Yesterday I called my younger daughter and asked her to teach me how to use the computer. She lives within a stone's throw of my house. ( It takes only one minute on foot.) She and her husband came to my house soon. The first thing she says is "I have already taught you this thing." And she added," You are slow on the uptake." She is hard on me, and speaks in an angry tone. On the other hand, her husband is very kind, and the language he uses is tender. I wonder if she know s"Like mother, like daughter." I am a fool means you are a fool. After the computer, they had lunch merrily. This is the same pattern.
